PADI Marketing Campaign Overview: What You Need to Succeed! 

As we near the end of 2024, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the year’s accomplishments and prepare for what’s next. So let’s dive into our campaign overview! The Seek Adventure. Save the Ocean. Together campaign continues to gain momentum, helping grow the diving community while promoting ocean conservation. Now is your final chance to take advantage of free PADI Master Scuba Diver™ application fees and possibly win a free renewal for 2025. Be sure to complete all Master Scuba Diver ratings by 31 December 2024, with paperwork submitted by 15 January 2025. Encourage your divers to get involved and make the most of this campaign to close out the year.

With 2025 on the horizon, it’s time to build on these efforts and continue growing your dive center’s community and influence. Let’s look ahead at the key strategies that will drive your success in the new year.


Diver Acquisition – Seek Adventure. Save the Ocean. Together

Referral campaigns are key to grow the diving community. By encouraging divers to refer their friends and family, we’ve supported a global network of adventure-seekers committed to ocean conservation. The formalized referral process, available through padi.com/dive-together, rewards referrers with a free 30-day PADI Club membership when their referree purchases an Open Water Diver eLearning course. The system generates a unique URL for referrers to share via email, text or social media, making it easy for divers to invite others to join the experience. 

As we continue into 2025, this referral strategy will continue to remain an important method for engaging new divers and growing your dive center’s community.

Continuing Education – PADI Master Scuba Diver Challenge

With the PADI Master Scuba Diver™ Challenge, divers have an exciting opportunity to enhance their skills and work toward the highest non-professional level. Continuing education keeps divers engaged and strengthens their connection to the diving lifestyle. In addition, immediate members and retail and resort members have two separate opportunities to participate for a chance to earn a free renewal. This opportunity will continue into 2025, motivating divers and businesses alike to stay active and drive progress towards certifications.


Pro Acquisition – 100 Reasons to Become a PADI Pro 

As divers build their skills through continuing education, many choose to take the next step and become PADI Professionals. The 100 Reasons to Become a PADI Pro campaign showcases a meaningful career path that blends travel, adventure, and ocean conservation, as well as a diverse range of ways in which divers can progress in the industry. By promoting these benefits, dive centers can attract passionate divers ready to make diving a fulfilling lifelong pursuit. Leverage this campaign to accelerate professional certifications and expand your pool of professionals.

Divemaster Acquisition – Divemaster Internship

The Divemaster Internship is the first step in developing committed dive professionals. By turning aspiring divers into certified PADI Divemasters, you create leaders within your dive center who can guide new divers on their journey. These internships provide training and experience, which not only benefits the individuals but also strengthens the overall community of PADI dive professionals. To support this initiative, dive centers are encouraged to post their Divemaster internship opportunities on the PADI Jobs Board throughout 2025. This will help drive traffic to your dive center, ensuring your DM classes are filled with aspiring professionals. When posting, remember to select the Pro Activities filter so your internships are also featured on the Dive Shop Locator, further boosting visibility and attracting more candidates. Post your Divemaster Internship today!
