Look for three new/updated products for PADI® Divemaster candidates and potential candidates. These products, releasing in early May 2021 in English and Japanese (with other languages following this year), update the Divemaster digital lineup and open new opportunities for bringing divers into your PADI Divemaster course.
New! Introduction to Divemaster
Aimed at upping interest and enrollment in the PADI Divemaster course, Introduction to Divemaster is a new, free eLearning project accessed through the PADI Learning Portal. Introduction to Divemaster lets interested divers “sample” what it means to be a PADI Divemaster and what the course includes with these selected interactive topics:
Introduction
Course Overview
Your Role
Example Case Study
Demonstrating Skills
Divemaster Conducted Specialties
Dive Business Focus
Why Care About the Environment
What’s Next
Once registered, the experience previews the PADI Divemaster course and guides prospective candidates to envision subsequent professional levels. The program also includes a strong call-to-action encouraging divers to contact their PADI Dive Center, Resort or Instructor to start their diving career. PADI Dive Centers and Resorts can also create affiliate links to Introduction to Divemaster by adding their PADI store number to this URL where shown:

Revised! PADI Divemaster eLearning
PADI Divemaster eLearning features new images and integration with the PADI Divemaster Video, and while these improve the course look and feel significantly, the overall course content and sequence remain unchanged. On the other hand, there are two other big enhancements.
First, as has been much asked for, now PADI Divemaster candidates can complete the Divemaster Final Exam within PADI Divemaster eLearning. As with other eLearning product options, they complete a Quick Review when they meet with you. If they are unsuccessful with the exam in eLearning, after meeting with them and remediating where they had problems, you use the printed Divemaster Final Exam 2 to retest.
The second big change is that PADI Divemaster candidates must enroll by contacting you, paying the fee and receiving their product code. This begins a personal mentoring relationship from the start, solidifying the connection between instructors and PADI Divemaster candidates. It also provides opportunities to overcome objections and/or answer questions and, because candidates can get their access code via telephone, text, email etc. from you, they can start almost as quickly as they did before.
New! Divemaster Digital Crewpak
Hand-in-hand with contacting you to access it, PADI Divemaster eLearning is now packaged only with a PADI Divemaster Digital Crewpak (product number varies with PADI Regional Headquarters) – ala carte sales are discontinued. Divemaster Digital Crewpaks include PADI Divemaster eLearning DSD® Instructor Cue Card (digital), Divemaster Slates (digital), Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving (digital), ReActivate® eLearning, eRDPML and Instructions for Use, application and Divemaster Slate pak. (Crewpak contents may vary somewhat depending upon regional requirements). The current paper version of the Divemaster crewpak will continue to be available while stock remains.
Check It Out
Every new/renewed PADI Instructor will have a personal copy of PADI Divemaster eLearning automatically uploaded to their Learning Portal as a 2021 member benefit, so be sure get to know it.
