As an EFR Instructor candidate, you’ll study independently (whenever and wherever is most convenient for you) with EFR Instructor eLearning while referencing the newly updated EFR Instructor Guides and participant materials included in the Digital Crew-Pak.

Accordingly, the new EFR Instructor independent study is a great way to get started immediately and learn at your own pace.

Then, you’ll meet with an EFR Instructor Trainer to complete the course practical application workshops for certification.

Enjoy fun workshops and practical training in person with your Instructor Trainer.

After you complete eLearning, you’ll schedule time with your Instructor Trainer to cover hands-on scenarios for how to teach preparedness to students. Your Instructor Trainer will share teaching tips to help you confidently teach skills to meet performance requirements. Then, you can assure your future students are ready to handle real-life emergency situations.

For EFR Instructor Trainers, the EFR Instructor Trainer Guide (67010) has also been updated with information about how to conduct the practical application workshops for candidates who completed independent study via EFR Instructor eLearning, specific to:

What does the digital material cover?

The EFR Instructor Digital Crew-Pak, in combination with EFR Instructor eLearning, provides the key learning and teaching materials instructor candidates need during and after the EFR Instructor course.

Additionally, EFR Instructor eLearning includes nine knowledge development sections, associated Knowledge Reviews and the EFR Instructor Exam.

Previously, self-study included three Knowledge Reviews in the Appendix of the Primary and Secondary Care Instructor Guide and one Knowledge Review in the Care for Children Instructor Guide. Now, you’ll see those Knowledge Reviews and the associated knowledge development topics incorporated into EFR Instructor eLearning.
