First and foremost, thank you. Thank you to all service members for your hard work and dedication not only to the USA but to whichever NATO country you served in.

We here at Scuba Educators International want to offer you a unique opportunity to obtain your recreational scuba leadership by offering a direct path to the desired leadership position with as little “Red Tape” as possible.

 We have developed a “Military Segway” program for current and former military divers and military instructors, both US and NATO. This is a one-of-a-kind program that rewards the service members by directly crossing them over to the civilian equivalent.

We also will be offering a military “Skill Bridge” program for current service members to obtain their recreational scuba instructor rating. Whether you are a beginner in scuba diving or have had training, we can help you obtain the instructor rating as close to your ETS {Estimated Time of Separation} as possible.

If you wish to use your VA educational benefits to obtain a recreational scuba instructor certification, we have a program that fits that as well. Unlike other programs that are offered, this program will take you through the full process of becoming an instructor. Tuition pricing depends on your level of diving experience. In some cases, your total cost for this program may be covered by the VA. Some examples of possible coverage outside of your tuition are, equipment, lab fees, housing, meals and travel, etc. It is important to note that this program is for instructor certification only, not single dive certification such as “open water diver” or “advance diver, etc.”

Coming soon, Scuba Educator International will be offering the Vocational Rehabilitation Program through the VA. Once offered, in certain cases, family members of service members may be able to take advantage of this program. More information will be coming about this program soon.
