As a PADI Member stationed around the world, you have made the choice to join our global force for good by serving others in doing what you love and doing it well: training confident, capable PADI Divers and inviting new Ocean Torchbearers to explore and protect the ocean, both locally and globally. You are part of the PADI leadership diaspora, and because we are connected and united by our size and reach around the world, all constructive actions you choose to engage in locally are significant.

Most of us got into the dive industry because diving is baked into who we are – a driving passion for teaching and helping others learn to dive and enabling them to both explore and protect the underwater world. Our diving “superpowers” – personal healing; ocean conservation, exploration, education; personal transformation; and uniting with others in bringing these to the world – are constructive actions now that will make for a better future. It’s in our collective DNA to seek diving adventure and save the ocean, and to make a difference by inspiring others to join us and scale the power, influence and positive contributions of the global community of PADI Members and Divers – a dynamic force for good. These attributes deeply connect us to our true selves. Our “superpowers” make a difference.

As a PADI Member and Professional, and leader in your community, exactly how you choose to make a difference by applying your superpowers in 2025 is entirely up to you, but I’m confident that you have both the opportunity and the strong interest to make one. Thank you for that, for your membership, and for your commitment.
